Here at Dreamquest we have always fed some fresh food in our Mastiffs diets.But here in the last 8 months we have started switching to more fresh food and less kibble. In the small time frame we have converted to mainly fresh food we have noticed first our coats have changed and the overall activity of our group.. We have less problems with hot spots,ear infections,and gas.Not to mention less droppings in the yard.
We first started buying some organ meats kidneys,liver,heart. Then we started buying beef bones .Beef bones are great for dogs it keeps them busy and great for tarter control. Chewing the bones works there jaw muscles cheek muscles and the marrow works just like a Kong with Peanut butter. At a dog show in Cleveland we found a company that had green tripe and alot of varieties of fresh foods so we tried it and well our dogs took off on it. Since then we have found a Butcher and are buying foods in bulk and blending own food. We enjoy making food for the dogs. In addition to fresh food in the pictures below we also buy chicken leg quarters.If anyone would like more information on fresh foods or other recipes we have made just e-mail or call we would love to hear from you.

seedlessgrapes,Squash,Kelp,
Greens,Rice.All mixed into a
food processor and the ratio
is 3# meats to 2 #veggies.
Fish Mixture
Ingredients:
Brown Rice,Salmon, Salmon oil,Jack Mackeral, Perch,Little garlic,eggs,
Butternut Squash, Fresh green beans,Carrots, Peas, Kale,Kelp All mixed into a food processor in a 2.5 meat
to 2.5 veggies mix.
Just to let you know about one experience our girl Layne . Layne would have hot spots and well her heat cycles were let's say irregular she has never conceived a litter either even to Hutch's implants. Since our switch she is regular on her heat cycles her ears are great,gaining weight ,and her coat is to die for. And well we think she is PG now....YEAHHHHH We Had 15 puppies!!!
